> I finished another fic for [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo! It came together in about three hours, a fun piece to write, and is for the prompt "broken bones". You can read it here. Once more it's for The Goblin Emperor: I'm feeling a little shy by the percentage of TGE fic authored by myself. >_<

> Yuletide cometh! I've got my list of things to offer planned out, and my requests and letter are nearly sorted. Excitement! I am looking forward to the letter post, because I would like to try my hand at some treats, too.

> NaNoWriMo, I think, does not cometh, although I have been seriously tempted. I've had successes with it in the past (2006, 2010, and one Camp NaNo whose year escapes me) but also numerous failures, and I'm not sure this is the year to try for another success if I'm also doing Yuletide as a newbie.

> Finished another fic! Once more for The Goblin Emperor and for [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo. This fills my "forced marriage" square.

> I've decided to do Yuletide for the first time this year! I'm quite excited at the prospect - it'll be an interesting writing challenge and hopefully I'll get some nice fic out of it, both in terms of writing and receiving. =)

> Current writing music has been lots of Skipinnish. I particularly like this one.

> I posted a third fic, which was being beta'd as of my last update post - thus filling a third square in a row for [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo, hurrah! It's longfic (or fairly longfic, anyway), about secondary/tertiary characters, for a tiny fandom, and I'm really pleased with its reception so far. Comments from people I don't even know! :D

> After poking uncertainly at my various plot bunnies for further [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo prompts, and none of them seeming more immediately interesting than the others, I've simply picked one for now and am running with it. It's for the prompt forced marriage. If it works out, I'll be at four fills in a row, and only one natural disasters away from a straight line bingo.

> I also requested a card from genprompt_bingo over on Dreamwidth: mostly to seek further writing inspiration, really, as I'm not sure I can try for bingos on two cards simultaneously! It's got a few fun ideas ...

Let's see if I do enough writing to make this a regular feature ...

> Finished a third fic for my [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo card. Prompt: "crucifixion". It's currently off for betaing. At one point it seemed likely to be abandoned, as I was struggling with block and doubt. So I'm really happy & proud that I managed to get it done. And it's 15K! One of the longest fics I've ever written. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] egelantier and [livejournal.com profile] somebraveapollo for support & encouragement at critical junctures ...

> Now I'm trying to pick what to work on next! I have several plot bunnies, but they're all still quite nebulous. There's a "forced marriage" bunny that I'm rather excited about, but which threatens to be another longfic, and is still very much in the "who needs plot when you got feels" stage of development in my head. "Forced to face fear" and a very loose interpretation of "robots/androids" both offer shortfic possibilities, while "isolation" is also probably going to prove longfic and is rather scaring me. Finally, there's a possible second "crucifixion" fic (or CRUCIFIC :ba-dum-TSH:) in my brain, but that's lower on the priority list since I'm not sure I want to revisit that prompt again immediately.

Got my card at [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo ...

[I've added links to fic for the filled prompts!]
