writing update: #4

> I finished another fic for hc_bingo! It came together in about three hours, a fun piece to write, and is for the prompt "broken bones". You can read it here. Once more it's for The Goblin Emperor: I'm feeling a little shy by the percentage of TGE fic authored by myself. >_<

> Yuletide cometh! I've got my list of things to offer planned out, and my requests and letter are nearly sorted. Excitement! I am looking forward to the letter post, because I would like to try my hand at some treats, too.

> NaNoWriMo, I think, does not cometh, although I have been seriously tempted. I've had successes with it in the past (2006, 2010, and one Camp NaNo whose year escapes me) but also numerous failures, and I'm not sure this is the year to try for another success if I'm also doing Yuletide as a newbie.

enchanted forest: colouring book

There's been a trend lately for adult colouring books, and I finally got my hands on one... I've just begun, and it's as lovely than I'd hoped, pulling out my old pencils and absorbing myself in colour. I picked a telescope for my first attempt - I totally admit, out of reference to my recent fic about an astronomer ... :)
